Fun with Junkitz!

Dannie over at InspireMeCardKits.com has put together a neat kit for June! Did you know she is based in my home town? (which I miss dearly!) Here are a few cards I made for the design team this month...am loving the Junkitz paper and stuff! Not usually a color combo I would normally use, but I love a challenge! I have one more to post, but have to wait til the morn to get a picture of it. Thanks for visiting me and have a good night, ya'll!

End of the year teacher gift

I found this beautiful tote that is similar to a file folder with separate compartments for files and thought it would be perfect for my daughter's teacher for a gift! Her teacher also loves yellow, so when I made the card I tried to incorporate that too. Hope she likes it! Tomorrow is the last day! Then sum, sum, summmmmer!!! (not so good for me..less scrapping time, I'm sure!) HA

Great Escape Field Trip Day

We had a blast with our daughter, Taylor, yesterday going to the Great Escape Six Flags park for her 1st grade end-of-the-year field trip! It was a long, hot day, but so worth it. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the day, one of us, one of Princess Taylor with Cinderella and a cool shot of one of the roller coasters!

ScrapGypsies DT work (Hybrid cards)

7.11.07 Sorry..all 3 of these were removed for publishing..be back soon! One will be in Paper Crafts, Feb. 08, one in Scrapbook Dimensions Aug. 08, and one in Digital Artist Magazine in Jan. 08.

My most recent work for Scrapgypsies.com here. These were all created with Valerie Foster's beautiful papers from Altscrap.com. Awesome stuff, love the patterns and colors!

Photoshop fun

Just playing around with Photoshop today! Am loving it! This is the third digi page I've done. Everything here is from ShabbyPrincess.com.This is my daughter, Kati last fall discovering the outdoors. Been wanting to scrap these photos for a year now. Digi is fun because you can always go back and change it if you don't like it! I love this journaling card in the background too. I think I'll print it out and use it on a card. Oh, and she is trying to get her hood off in the one pic..hee hee!
Well, I decided to enter the blogging world! Not sure how exciting my blog will be, but here it is!
